It is one of the most iconic on-screen dishes of all time, and now Rachel Green's Thanksgiving trifle has been bought to life. In honour of one of the all-time classic sitcom scenes, meal delivery service Deliveroo has launched a pop-up restaurant - Green's Desserts - serving one dish only; a slice of pure comedy, the Friends-inspired Meat & Sweet Trifle. Copying the exact recipe made by Jennifer Aniston's character, the £6 trifle is only for the brave - or the truly devoted Friends fan. In the episode The One When Ross Got High', which first aired in 1999, Rachel agreed to make the dessert for Monica's Thanksgiving dinner. However, due to the cookbook pages being stuck together, Rachel instead made a trifle-shepherd's pie hybrid, which her pals were then forced to try in order to spare her feelings. Describing the ingredients to Ross and Joey she says: 'First there's a layer of lady fingers. Then a layer of jam then custard, which I made from scratch. Then raspberries, more lady fingers, then beef sauteed with peas and onions, then more custard and then bananas - and I just put some whipped cream on top.
